Placements in high school are available in Ontario, Canada in the following communities: Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph, Brantford and the City of Toronto in public or private high schools.
Available from September to June, this program allows international students to:
- Earn high school credits in either a public or private Canadian high school
- Perfect English skills in a friendly academic environment
- Make new Canadian friends
- Experience Canadian culture
- Enhance chances of admission to university or college in your home country or in an English speaking country
- High School course credits upon successful completion of school year
- Choice of 1 or 2 months, a semester or whole academic year
- Make new Canadian friends
- Experience Canadian culture
- Enhance chances of admission to university or college in your home country or in an English speaking country
- Canada Linc supervision and support for duration of your stay
- Regular reports to parents throughout the year
- Airport transfers (pick-up and drop-off)
- Canadian Host Family placement with a carefully selected family who will provide room and board, support, friendship and supervision
- Program and area orientation on arrival and assistance on the first day of school
- A commitment to actively take part in academic and extra-curricular activities offered at the school and by the host families
- Respect for teachers, families and fellow students
Our Main Teachers
Our teachers are certified through the Ontario College of Teachers. They are engaging, dynamic and creative with the concepts they teach, and use a variety of hands on, experiential learning strategies to make English learning fun! They create memorable experiences in the classroom and we see dramatic results in English language acquisition from when students arrive to when they complete our programs!
